Great question — and we believe in being transparent.
Currently, fully biodegradable bristles don’t yet meet the hygiene and durability standards needed for effective daily brushing.
Some “biodegradable” options use animal hair (such as pig or horse hair), which can trap bacteria, are difficult to sanitize, and raise animal welfare concerns — which is why BAMKIKI does not use animal hair bristles.
