Bamkiki Give Back Program with Royal Flying Doctor Service

Royal Flying Doctor Service Aeroplane touching down.

Bamkiki Bamboo toothbrushes enable the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) to take important steps to be environmentally friendly whilst continuing to deliver the important message of oral hygiene and oral health education to rural and remote Australia. “Bamkiki generously made their first donation to the RFDS in July 2019, just in time for a trip to Kintore, NT – a remote community some 550 kilometres west of Alice Springs with a population of 450,” stated the Oral Health team.

Great feedback from the local community on Bamkiki toothbrushes.

“Community members young and old were delighted with the Bamkiki brushes – and in particular were inspired by the bright yellow bristles - to have a go at improving their oral health,” commented the Oral Health team.

“Bamkiki has not only been a big hit within our Oral Health team but also within this remote isolated community.”

The RFDS has been saving lives and improving healthcare in rural and remote Australia for over 90 years. The organisation relies on bequests, partnerships and donations to bridge the gap in its operational funding.
