The toothbrush handle is made of MOSO (Phyllostachys edulis) bamboo which is 100% biodegradable and sustainably sourced. The bristles are made of Dupont Nylon 4-6.They are BPA Free and recyclable.

The toothbrush is designed and trademarked in Melbourne, Australia and responsibly made in China. The toothbrushes are made with utmost quality with social auditing methodology and reports such as BSCI, FDA, BPA-Free Test and etc.

How do I use my Bamkiki bamboo toothbrush?

Use your Bamkiki toothbrush just like any other conventional toothbrush. We advice to brush your teeth at least twice a day for two minutes, usually in the morning and before you go to bed at night. Each time you brush, be sure to clean inner, outer, and chewing sides of your teeth.

How do I care for my Bamkiki bamboo toothbrush?

How do I dispose my Bamkiki toothbrush?

The handle of the toothbrush is 100% biodegradable so it can be placed into a compost bin or a green bin. Please remove the bristles before disposing the handle. The bristles are made of Nylon 4-6 and they are recyclable. Please check with your local council recycling and waste disposal whether they accept nylon recycling. How long does Bamkiki toothbrush last?

It is recommended by dentists to replace your toothbrush every 2-3 months or when the bristles started to fray. Bent and worn out bristles of a toothbrush lead to decreased cleaning efficiency. However, we have tested the toothbrush and it lasted for more than 6 months of usage. 

How do you pack BAMKIKI bamboo toothbrushes for delivery?

We believe in NO plastic packaging and less carbon footprint so all the toothbrushes are packed in envelopes or cardboard boxes that are made of recycled paper. The cardboard packaging is recyclable.

Online shopping and Subscription Orders

How do I buy BAMKIKI toothbrushes?

You can order BAMKIKI toothbrushes directly from our website, click here. You also have the option to purchase one of our subscription plans, click here.

What is a BAMKIKI toothbrush subscription plan?

We offer monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly subscription plan. When you sign up for the plan, the number of toothbrushes you order will be delivered to your door once in every 1-3 months period. If you want to learn more, click here.

How does the toothbrush subscription plan work?

With the subscription plan signed up, we will send you an invoice a few days before the amount gets deducted. Once we received the payment, we will then post the toothbrushes to you.

How do I manage my subscription(s)?

You can view and manage your subscriptions from the Customer Account. After signing in, click My account, and then Subscriptions.

All subscriptions are listed in the Subscriptions section. You can click on to the subscription to view its details, including:

  • The next order date

  • Price

  • Subscription frequency

  • Order history 

  • Saved billing information

To cancel the subscription, click Cancel Subscription. In the confirmation window, please proceed to click on Cancel Subscription. You'll receive an email notification on your subscription cancellation.

To update your payment information, please click Payment Method, and then Update Payment Method. You can change or update your credit card information in this page.

What if I forgot the password for my account?

We are unable to change your password for you, but after clicking the Sign In link on the homepage, you can click Forgot password? to send yourself a password reset email. This link expires after 24 hours.

Can I change my account email address?

It isn't possible to change the email address associated with your account at this time. You can create a new account using your updated email address.

How do I change the subscription(s) frequency and toothbrush quantity?

It isn't possible to change the subscription frequency and quantity associated with your account at this time. However, you can cancel and create a new subscription with the new chosen frequency and toothbrush quantity for the next order.

Can I change/delay the next subscription order date?

Yes, we can delay or reschedule the next subscription order to a later date but you need to let us know in writing. Please email us at info@bamkiki.com.au if you need to do so.

Can I save a PayPal account as a payment method?

No, you can’t save Paypal as the payment method for subscription orders. Currently, we only accept credit card (Master and Visa).

How do I change/update my shipping address?

To change the shipping address for subscriptions, customers must cancel the subscription and re-subscribe using different shipping details.

Do I have to pay shipping fee in BAMKIKI subscription plans?

No. It’s free shipping.

Will I be in a contract when I sign up the subscription plans?

No contract in all our plans. You can choose to cancel your plan anytime in the member sign-in portal.

Which charity or non-profit organization is in the Give Back Program?

Currently, we choose to donate to Royal Flying Doctor Services, a dedicated charity that funds oral health program in providing basic dental treatments to remote communities in the country. Where do you ship to?

Currently, we only ship to Australia wide from our warehouse in Nunawading, Victoria.

How much is the shipping cost?

Currently we offer FREE shipping within Australia for any order. There is NO tracking included in FREE shipping. If you would like tracking on your delivery, we would recommend standard delivery which only costs $5.00.

How long does it take to get my toothbrush delivered?

All toothbrush purchased will be delivered in 2-6 business days. Purchases made on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

What shipping carrier do you use?

We only offer Australia Post as our shipping carrier for the moment.
